I scheduled to come in because I could smell a burning odor coming from the engine. Although they could not fix the immediate issue due to the extent of the repair, they diagnosed the problem, recommended another facility for repair and did not charge me for the work performed. Everyone I came in contact with was courtesous and very professional. I would not hesitate to return in the future.

Tom, Roy and Tommy are professional and courteous! I can always count on them to take good care of my car. Most recently I brought in a certified used CRV for a look over right after purchasing it. They went through it with a fine tooth comb, found a nail buried on the inside tire, air filter and cabin filters in need of replacement. Tom referred me back to where I purchased it and happy to report they took care of it! Petty motorworks did not charge me a dime for the inspection and emailed a full report to the place I purchased it from. I thank all the crew for their dedication and hard work!! Mary Hutchinson

Unfair pricing. I had my vehicle towed to this shop because AAA insisted this was the closest repair shop to tow my vehicle. I spoke to Tommy who said he would do a “complimentary inspection” on the vehicle before proceeding. This was not the case because I never received a call from anyone. Tommy proceeded to diagnose the issue. The issue was that my alternator was shot and I was informed it would cost around $960 because of rust underneath the vehicle. I work at a car dealership and have a ballpark idea of what repairs cost. After informing Tommy the repair should be between 450-550 he did not want to lower his price at all. I ended up having to pay the shop $50 for the diagnosis plus 200 to tow it to my local repair shop. Which by the way charged me under $400 for the new alternator installed. This was a major inconvenience for me to go through all this. If they offered fair pricing from the start I wouldn’t be writing this review right now. Don’t let them take advantage and check pricing elsewhere.
